Following Energy: Introducing Interphasic Symbols

When you daydream, you are allowing your unconscious mind to tell you a story of how your awareness has changed from one state to another, using energy and dream language. As we map these symbols of dream language and recognize the 'mudras' that we hold in our awareness, we may also begin to notice that the changes in our dream's story create physiological changes. Involuntary eye movements increase or decrease breathing and salivation. The body responds to these dreams as if they were real.

Have you ever had a dream that changed suddenly? What do you think was happening with your energy at that time? Was there some subtle connection that changed the story from one thing to another?

Take time every day for at least a week, 15 minutes minimum, to daydream. (The mind has a natural reset around every 9 minutes, so we are looking for what happens during this reset point).

Practice taking quick notes as you daydream, and when your time is up, read what you wrote. Look for where the story changed. Note what symbols were present just before and just after that reset point. You will want to make a note of those in your dream journal!
