Your Mind is like a Fist

Just like with the chi exercises, we can increase pressure on our energy systems using the strength of our focus. We don't have to move our bodies to move our energy.

 

Take a moment to notice how you currently hold the energy around your mind.

 

How does this change if you listen to your favorite song? What is your least favorite song?

 

How does it change when you're writing a list of answers to a question?

Your mind is like a fist, and how you hold it is like a mudra, a specialized gesture representing a flow of energy or awareness. 

 

As an Energy Engineer or Architect, you will begin to take conscious control of the form your awareness takes and become less dependent on some external experience to know when and how to change this state of awareness.

 

The best place to begin is where you are at. Begin practicing when to soften if the focus is too intense or gently roll into more substantial pressure when more awareness is needed.
