Prana as Auric Filters

Your level of Consciousness in Linear experiences of reality is determined by the memories you currently have manifest in your awareness. This structure of memory is represented by the shen and prana energy. The Shen represents all of the memories you have ever experienced of the 'symbols' you are paying attention to in the experience. The prana is a kind of 'net' that allows the energies related to those symbols to pass through to your awareness.

These awareness levels have limitations regarding what specific energies they can help you to pay attention to. For example, combining overactivity or under activity of energy centers can result in different perceptions of the same situation.

The energy you are actively remembering, the shen and the prana, represent the level of Consciousness you are holding your awareness at.

These levels of awareness have their own needs. These needs form their restrictions on what can be paid attention to attention to.

For example, suppose you see someone holding one energy center that highlights energetic and excited moments of potential 'discovery', and another center that you interpret as exhibiting 'strange' behaviors not customary for your culture. In that case, these combined layers may create a sensation called 'curiosity.' You may find strangers interesting because their energy reminds you of something important in the past.

Someone else who is also present with you may be holding an energy center that highlights moments that could bring 'danger.' Another energy center that highlights people exhibiting 'strange' behaviors that are not customary for your culture, these combined layers may create a level of awareness that reads 'strange' behaviors and 'dangerous' behaviors together. This person may find strangers dangerous in the context of your culture based on your past memories.

From your previous exercises, you probably have several examples by now of the energy centers of your body, where you hold them, and what levels of Consciousness they represent.

For this exercise, I want you to find a 'blank spot' on your body where you don't feel specific heat or cold sensations. Shrink your awareness into this space and let your awareness tell you a story of what this space represents.

Note the experience in your dream journal, and label it as "Unmanifest Energy".
